Frozen Strawberry Smoothie

Frozen Strawberry Smoothie

The nice weather recently has got me super excited for summer so I decided to share 3 quick and easy frozen smoothie recipes with you. These are ideal for in the mornings if you are rushing out the door, or as a nice cold drink to enjoy in the sun.

A Classic Frozen Strawberry Smoothie

This is one of my favourites. It’s so simple yet so tasty.

Ingredients

1 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup orange juice
3 tbsp frozen yoghurt
Water (to get your desired consistency)

Directions

Blend all of them together – it really is that easy!

Mango and Passion Fruit

Inspired by Starbucks’ and Costa Coffee’s Mango Passion Fruit Iced Drinks, this is sure to satisfy any sweet cravings!

Ingredients

1 cup mango
2/3 cup passion fruit juice
1/3 cup ice

Directions

Blend all together.

Peanut Butter and Nutella

Although peanut butter wouldn’t be my food of choice, this is a popular smoothie / milkshake option in my house!

Ingredients

1 tbsp peanut butter
1/2 tbsp nutella
1 banana
2 tbsp frozen yoghurt
1 cup milk

Directions

Blend the ingredients together.

These recipes are so versatile and can be adapted to your own individual tastes. If you’re like me and have had problems with smoothie makers failing to blend frozen ingredients, I’d recommend taking a look at the Panasonic Juicers*!
