The nice weather recently has got me super excited for summer so I decided to share 3 quick and easy frozen smoothie recipes with you. These are ideal for in the mornings if you are rushing out the door, or as a nice cold drink to enjoy in the sun.
A Classic Frozen Strawberry Smoothie
This is one of my favourites. It’s so simple yet so tasty.
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 cup orange juice
3 tbsp frozen yoghurt
Water (to get your desired consistency)
Blend all of them together – it really is that easy!
Mango and Passion Fruit
Inspired by Starbucks’ and Costa Coffee’s Mango Passion Fruit Iced Drinks, this is sure to satisfy any sweet cravings!
1 cup mango
2/3 cup passion fruit juice
1/3 cup ice
Blend all together.
Peanut Butter and Nutella
Although peanut butter wouldn’t be my food of choice, this is a popular smoothie / milkshake option in my house!
1 tbsp peanut butter
1/2 tbsp nutella
2 tbsp frozen yoghurt
1 cup milk
Blend the ingredients together.
