3 Goals for 20172 min read

2017

I love making goals the start of year and looking back at how I did at the end of the year. This year will be slightly different though as I am sharing them with all of you.. so the pressure is on to achieve them! Instead of making a long list of goals, I have picked just 3 to focus on:

1. Travel more of Ireland

It’s easy to forget how beautiful your home country is. I am disappointed that I only have one post about Ireland on my website so this year I’m making it a goal of mine to explore more of Ireland’s beauty. I hope this blog will show you some of Ireland’s hidden gems and inspire you to also get to know more of our country! You don’t always have to go abroad to travel, sometimes the adventure awaiting us is already on our doorstep!

2. Read more

Making time to read is something I need to improve on. Instead of aimlessly scrolling through the same social media accounts over and over again, I could be reading one of the many books on my bookshelf. The book I am reading at the moment is “The Sell” by Fredrik Eklund, who is America’s number 1 real estate broker. I have been “reading” this book for over a year now so it’s finally time to properly get stuck into it! If you have any book suggestions, I’d love to hear them!

3. Blog Consistently

I’ve had my blog since September 2015, which is almost a year and a half ago now! Since creating it, I have blogged on and off, with no real posting pattern. This year however I am determined to post at least once a week. I know this is going to be a really tough task, especially for the first half of the year while I am in my last semester of college, but I really am going to try my best to post as often as I can!

What are your goals for 2017?

Ali xx

    Hi Ali.

I’m so excited that you are going to be blogging more. Now I have another method of stalking you while I’m up in Sligo.

You should 100% read “Me Before You” by Jojo Moyes and the sequel “After You”. I have also really liked “Billy and Me” by Giovanna Fletcher and “Happy Ever After” by Nora Roberts. They are really easy reads!

I would so love to visit Ireland one day! In my heart, I want to be Irish, lol! Such a great set of goals. I like to keep mine fairly simple so I don’t get too lost. Can’t wait to see more of your blog. 🙂

It really is a beautiful country, especially if you can avoid the rain haha! I hope my blog will come in useful if you do decide to visit someday! 🙂
