Once we got into Killarney Town Centre we decided to go for lunch and then we went for cake and hot chocolate in Noelle’s Retro Café. I am not the biggest lover of hot chocolate but the waiter told me I had to try it as it is the best.. and I can’t say I disagreed! It was delicious (so delicious I even went back there last weekend)! It’s such a cute little café. I’d definitely recommend going there if you ever stop by Killarney.

After strolling around the town for a bit, we went back to the hotel and chilled in our room. Our room was similar to the picture below but we had 3 single beds instead. There was also a lovely balcony, which didn’t see much use because of the rain!

We headed back into the town and went to The Lane Bar in The Ross for dinner and cocktails. We were actually really lucky to get a table there. It was the day of the Killarney races and it was packed in there! But the food was really good, as were the cocktails! It is such a funky, modern bar and I would definitely go there again.

.
Afterwards, we went to Sheehan’s bar for a bit where Clockworks were playing.
Day two began with a fab breakfast in the hotel. They had this magical pancake machine, where you literally pressed a button and 30 seconds later a mini little pancake pops out! I could have eaten 10 of them (but lucky for me, they took a little too long to make to be waiting for that many haha!). This was the stunning view from our table at breakfast!

.
After breakfast, we checked out of our room and spent the rest of the day at the pool. It was so nice just to relax and do nothing for the day, especially with the horrible rainy weather outside! I hadn’t been swimming in so long and I forgot how much fun it can be!

Omg, that hotel looks beautiful. It’s not the typical one type you stay, it seems so cozy & family friendly. I’m glad you enjoy your weekend & the chocolate even tho you’re not a fan. If I ever go near by definitively I am trying it.

It is a lovely hotel. The only downside is that it is a little far from the town centre but this may be what some people are looking for! Since posting this, I am definitely beginning to like hot chocolate a lot more.. unfortunately! I hope you enjoy it if you do get here! 🙂

That hotel looks super luxurious. I’ve never been to Ireland but it’s on my list. My best mate was living in Cork but has just moved back to London (@jb_new)

It is really nice. They have actually closed the hotel to do a major refurbishment so I imagine it will be fab when it reopens. Oh nice! It’s not a far trip from London! 🙂
