Last day in L.A. | Malibu, Venice & Santa Monica2 min read

Malibu Pier

Hello again!

Our fourth and final day in L.A. began with a trip to Will Rogers State Beach. Our house was located in such an ideal area, as it was only about a block from the beach.

Luckily the weather was quite nice because the past few days had been pretty cold. Although there was a bit of a sea breeze when we were taking these pictures! We strolled down the beach for a bit and then went back to the house to get ready to go to Malibu.

The drive from Santa Monica to Malibu is absolutely gorgeous. Hopefully someday I will be able to go on a road trip from San Fransisco to L.A. along highway 101, a beautiful coastal route. We planned on going to Malibu Farm Café for lunch but as it was Mother’s Day, it was really hard to find parking. We ended up driving into the Malibu Country Mart and who did we see? Only Ben Affleck sitting in the car right next to us!!
.
After the excitement of that, we went back towards Malibu Farm Café, hoping we would be able to get a seat there, and thankfully we did. The café is located at the end of Malibu Pier and it is so picture perfect. If you follow me on Instagram, you were probably sick of seeing my pictures from there but I just couldn’t help it! I just had to get a juice in one of their famous Malibu Farm mason jars!

The food was also incredible. I got a delicious BLT sandwich. Fresh, Organic, Local is their motto, which is really great to know. I would highly recommend going there if you ever get the chance.

We headed back to our house again and my aunt, Sarah and I decided to climb the famous Santa Monica Steps. I expected them to be tougher, but they were fun to do! There was also a pretty nice view from the top.

On our way back from the steps, we spotted this adorable little local library!

We went to Venice to watch the sunset. After watching Flaked on Netflix, I love Venice! I would have liked to spend more time around there but you always have to leave something for the next time, right!? P.S. I really hope Flaked returns for more seasons!

We then drove back to Santa Monica and ate at Blue Plate Taco, which was pretty average! We ended our trip to L.A. with a visit to Santa Monica Pier. Sadly, all the rides were closed as it was too late, but it was still nice to walk around the pier.

Overall we had a great time in L.A. My favourite parts were definitely Rodeo Drive and Malibu Farm Café.

Thanks for reading 🙂

This looks fun! I have yet to visit the beach though, haha. I saw you(?) wearing a Pace University shirt! I once went to NY with the BF, got lost, while we were at it we stumbled upon that uni! Haha, #adventures
