Seaport

Hello again, I’m back with another post!
.
Who would have thought that I’d be sitting in the sun in Seaport, admiring the stunning views while waiting for class to start.. in November? Definitely not me! The weather is absolutely incredible for this time of the year. It definitely makes going to class a lot harder!

If you’re looking for a nice place to relax with a book or just to chill outside, I’d recommend going to Seaport. On one side you’re looking across the river to Brooklyn with the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan Bridge in sight, while you’ve got views of Lower Manhattan on the other side.

I took a little detour through Battery Park on my way to class just to prolong the thought of sitting inside until 9pm for a three hour media buying class! This is a nice little park with a pretty good view of the Statue of Liberty, but it can get annoying when guys keep trying to sell tours to you!

.

Funny story: As two men were fishing, their bags were left on the bench behind them and next thing two squirrels jumped in and started rummaging around! I wish I had gotten a picture! So the lesson here is: if you ever bring a bag to a park in NYC, make sure it’s closed or you’d never know who you might find in there!
